Description
Black kc registered staffordshire bull terrrier male, 18 months old. I have owned him since 8 weeks old. He is a lovely looking boy with a massive head, amazing shiny jet black coat no brindle and with 2 white paws and a white flash on his chest, he gets complimented everytime we go out!
I am only rehoming him as i just dont have the time and its affecting his usual everyday routine from what hes been used to, i have more commitments now and he needs more than what i can give him right now.
Rocco is an affectionate boy and loves nothing more than to be close to you. He can act needy sometimes but just wants affection. This decision to rehome him was not made lightly! It has taken me weeks to actually put him up for rehoming. He is such a big softy with alot of love to give ❤️ He can get very excitable upon meeting new people but eventually calms down, if you have experience with staffys this is a trait and i am yet to find one that doesn't get excited and jumpy when receiving new attention.
He is fully vaccinated and not due his booster till december. He is upto date on his flea and worm treatments as he is on a care plan with our vets, he is also health tested clear by parents. He has not got any health issues what so ever or has no allergies and only ever been to the vets for his yearly vaccines and health checks. He is proven, semen tested and has a high count with excellent quality. He is a blue gene carrier and produces black and blue pups. He is fully house trained and crate trained and is fine being left for long periods of time he has never been destructive and is not food aggressive. He loves his toys and bones but not one for chasing a ball but happily chases sticks. He is great around children and has been raised around children of all ages including my 9 month old grand daughter who he is very careful around.
He does get on well with other dogs as he lives with 2 female dogs cannot say about other male dogs but hes not the dominant type so should be ok. He is fine when out he is not reactive at all he just always wants to play and greet. He is so full of energy he is a powerhouse but is also the most gentle natured boy. He absolutely loves going out especially where he can have a good run around but recently i haven't been able to take him out as often as id like. He travels well in the car he happily jumps in but long distance he does start to get anxious.
He walks well on a lead but does pull quite badly at first he does however calm down and will walk nicely hes only really started this recently since i haven't been taking him out as much but he knows the word wait and stops at every roadside and will not move until he is commanded to . He has very good recall and never goes far from you when off lead. He knows his basic commands for example Sit, Paw, Down, No and Wait. He will leave with everything he needs and all his paperwork.
He must go to a loving home who will love him as much as we do and who will take very good care of him. I will not let him go to just anyone. I would also like to stay in touch with any potential new owner. I am not open to offers so please dont waste my time on asking he has some amazing bloodlines with several champions in his 5 generation pedigree.
