Description
I have a beautiful axolotl that needs a home. It is around 3 inches big, beautiful markings and very friendly as I have had it since it was a hatchling. Eats and poops well. Currently eats Repashy Grub Pie and pellets. Does like bloodworm as a treat but not as a main diet as not enough nutrients in bloodworm alone.
Does like blackworm too. I will not post, so please dont ask me to. I can also sell you the entire set up you need with an aquarium (24 x 12 x 12 inches), a fully cycled sponge/media filter, the pump, a bubbler, a mini light and the hideaway plus a couple of plants to help keep the tank stable. You will need to treat the water you put him in with axolotl safe treatment, as they are allergic to normal fish safe water start up, as they contain Aloe. Seachem Prime is the best, Axosafe is the next best one. This axolotl will be tubbed when you take it home, which will give you 24hrs to get sorted. Please please ensure your tank (if you arent buying this one) is fully cycled and the tank bottom is bare, so no sand or gravel as this could kill it at this age. Tank mates are never a good idea, the axo WILL eat your fish, or your fish WILL nip at your axo. Snails are a HUGE no no as they find the coat of an axo very tasty and if your axo eats the snail, because of the shell, it could kill them.
The axolotl by itself is £25.
The axolotl and complete set up (which i brought brand new a few months ago) is £100.
Reason for sale.. I have two axolotls already, and bought this one as a kind of rescue. Was going to keep it, but 2 is enough for me.
