Truffles is a beautiful 15 month old male fluffy French Bulldog who is looking for a loving and experienced forever home. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family, as Truffles is very much loved and a valued member of our household. However, after a great deal of thought, we believe he would benefit from a calmer environment with an owner who can provide the time, structure and consistency he needs. At home with his family, Truffles is affectionate, playful, loyal and full of personality. He loves attention, enjoys cuddles and being close to his people, and is happiest when included in family life. He is a stunning dog who regularly receives compliments wherever he goes.
Truffles does have behavioural challenges that prospective adopters must be prepared for. He can be reactive towards other dogs and may become overstimulated in busy environments. He can also be protective of his home and family and may be wary of unfamiliar visitors entering the house. He thrives when given clear boundaries, routine and confident handling. For these reasons, we feel Truffles would be best suited to an adult only home or a home with older, dog savvy teenagers. We do not feel a home with young children would be the right environment for him. We are looking for an experienced owner who understands dog behaviour and is willing to continue his training and development. Finding the right home is far more important to us than finding a home quickly.
We are committed to ensuring Truffles finds a stable, loving forever home and do not want him to be passed from home to home. We are happy to discuss Truffles openly and honestly with serious applicants to ensure the right match for both him and his future family.
