🧬 About the Species
Black Bar Endlers (Poecilia wingei) are a small, colourful livebearer known for their energetic behaviour and striking patterns.
The black bar markings combined with flashes of colour make them really stand out, especially in a planted aquarium. They’re peaceful, active little fish that bring plenty of movement to the tank.

📏 Size & Behaviour
• Adult Size: Around 2–3 cm
• Temperament: Peaceful and community-friendly
• Behaviour: Very active swimmers and constantly on the move
• Social: Best kept in groups
• Males are smaller and more colourful, while females are larger and generally less colourful

🌿 Care Requirements
• Tank Size: Minimum 40 litres recommended for a small group
• Water Parameters: pH around 6.5–8.0 | Temperature 22–28°C
• Diet: Omnivorous – enjoys quality tropical flakes, micro pellets and occasional frozen/live foods
• Habitat: Loves planted aquariums with plenty of swimming space and some cover
• Compatibility: Excellent community fish when kept with other peaceful species
