We are now able to offer a few matings, in a secure, COVID safe and hygienic environment, with compassionate, patient, experienced handlers. Please enquire for details.
Bertie shares our home, sofas and fireside as a much loved member of the family, and is always with us.
Bitches showing signs of neglect, disease, fleas or bad temperament will not be mated. We do not support puppy farmers.
We do not do forced matings, we will only mate bitches who we are sure are ready to mate, and Bertie is trained to only mate on command.
He has been extensively DNA tested clear for Episodic Falling Syndrome, Degenerative Myelopathy, Dry Eye Curly Coat Syndrome, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Congenital Macrothrombocytopaenia, Von Willebrand Disease types 1, 2 and 3, Polycystic Kidney Disease, Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Exercise Induced Collapse, Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts, Malignant Hyperthermia, Canine Muscular Dystrophy, Severe Combined Immunodeficiency, Primary Lens Luxation, Cerebellar Ataxia, Deafness and Vestibular Disfunction, and he also tested clear on another 202 canine diseases. He holds certificates for all tests.
He had also just been tested clear on his new Doppler heart test by a Kennel Club listed cardiologist, with a green result. 22/11/2023
He also has a clear BVA eye certificate.
Copies of all Berties paperwork will be given at mating.
In the unlikely event of no pregnancy resulting, as a gesture of goodwill, a free return mating may be offered, at our discretion, and availability allowing. This is on the same bitches next season, within a 9 month timeframe, provided written proof of no pregnancy is provided to us within 10 weeks of first mating. We do not make refunds. No exceptions.
His has recently produced a healthy litter of 12 puppies.
