Description
Our beautiful male Border Collie (born 3rd February 2021) is looking for a knowledgeable and active forever home.
He is fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated, and neutered.
He is an intelligent, loyal and affectionate dog who thrives in an active environment with plenty of exercise and stimulation. He will need long daily walks and ideally access to open space or countryside, as he is used to being exercised off lead in fields.
Temperament:
• Excellent off lead with reliable recall
• Does not approach other dogs when off lead
• Good with other dogs
• Friendly with people
• Great with cats
• Excellent with babies and children
• Fully toilet trained
• Not destructive
• Very quiet – rarely barks
• Loves playing ball and fetch
He does pull on the lead, as he is mainly exercised off lead, so some lead training would benefit him.
Health:
He has epilepsy, which is currently well managed with Epifen. He is stable on his medication and we are happy to discuss his routine with serious enquiries.
Reason for rehoming:
Due to changes in our family circumstances and increasing commitments, we feel he would benefit from a home where he can receive the higher level of activity and one-to-one time this breed thrives on. This is an extremely difficult decision and we will only consider the very best home for him.
