Description

Advertising on behalf of my parents. Maggie is an 11 month old clumber spaniel cross sprocker spaniel. She is gorgeous and loves all people and other dogs. She has a lovely nature. Sad rehoming due to my parents struggling to manage her. She could do with some training with jumping up, due to her weight this is knocking my mum over (she is 70) and is causing her a lot of pain when trying to walk her. She would like to rehome her for her own health and also My Dad is waiting on a double hip operation and so he too is struggling. They have always had working cockers and the difference in weight is really one of the main factors they are struggling. We did not expect her to get quite so big and being so heavy is making her hard for them to walk/manage. She is currently 20kg. I own her sister from the same litter and can say they are lovely dogs. She will make someone a lovely dog who has the time and patience to train. She does know how to sit, shake paw and wait. Can be a little stubborn but from what I gather is a clumber spaniel trait. She has also been spayed, hence why we are asking for £1500 as this alone cost them £500. No health issues and Has been regularly flead and wormed. She has been well cared for, but they feel it is the right decision as they are only going to get older and she’s likely to still have growing to do. Looking for the best home. She loves children and gets very excited to see mine. I would recommend if you have children though not babies/small children due to her jumping up and can easily knock them over, but that is something for you to decide. She wouldn’t hurt them on purpose. Just lick them to death!
