Description

Sadly we are searching for new forever home for our beloved Stan. He is a huge part of my family so it’s an extremely hard decision I am making. Stan was born here 22/05/2023. At a couple of weeks old I started to notice that his head was much larger than his litter mates. I immediately took him a the vets where he was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus, the vet didn’t wish to treat him as it is so unusual in cats that she had no experience, she ultimately sent him home to die. I was absolutely not going to let that happen and found another vet who researched the condition and we started treatment immediately. Stan was medicated for close to a year and then was able to stop all medication and was out of any danger zone. He did have to have an operation on his eyes at 8 months old called entropion as his head had grown to fast and his eyes lids had folded in with his eyelashes rubbing on his eyes which was extremely painful. He recovered so well and his eyes look nearly perfect now. Stan is not in anyway expected to need any treatment for any of the previous conditions as they have been addressed and fixed. He is a very healthy happy boy. Stan is a very loving boy, he adores cuddles and belly rubs sitting in your dressing gown as far in as he can physically get, he is very sociable and sweet. He is the first to greet guests and enjoys human interaction, he loves playing with the cat wand and spends lots of time on the cazami cat wheel . Unfortunately he had taken a dislike to one of our other resident cats and has randomly started attacking him. I have tried everything over the last year but he just keeps randomly doing it, the next minute he will be sat cuddling the same cat. The thing is when he does attack him he really is aggressive and he hurts the other cat pulling clumps of fur out of him. I am sure he would be fine with a non dominant female cat as he loves to snuggle on a pile of cats, more so than on his own. I have decided on Stan rather than the cat that is being bullied as I also feel he would settle better and if not thrive better in a house without so many other cats and free movement of the whole house. As most Bengals he is vocal and loud, if you want to have a chat and put the world to rights then he is your boy! He is a huge gentle funny loving boy who will bring so much joy and love to a lucky family. Neutered ✅ Microchipped ✅ Fully vaccinated ✅ From HCM clear parents✅ PRA-b PKD-ef negative through parentage✅ Previous Bengal experience is a must for Stan as a family who don’t know Bengal ways may find him to loud, energetic and needy. He needs a home where he won’t be left on his own much as he is too social to be alone. He must be inside only or catio would be great. He is good with children but does not like being picked up much so no good if you have a child that wants to pick him up plus he is to big and strong. I will upload more photos soon . He will come with 5 weeks free Agria insurance.
