Skye is a 2 and 1/2 year old Lilac Merle standard American bully. She is loving, affectionate, crazy, and VERY hard work so she will need to go to someone who has patience and understanding. And potentially someone who has experience in caring for larger breed dogs.
She is house trained (might have a few accident while adjusting to a new home so please bare that in mind) and can do basic tricks, she loves squeaky toys and bones, LOVES long walks so she will only be going to someone who can commit to a minimum of 2 one hour long walks a day.
Shes not great on a lead, and unfortunately does pull which will need some work to correct.
She does need some recall training (we are getting there just not 100%).
She loves a good cuddle, loves falling asleep sucking a teddy bear, loves food however although she isnât fussy, as most American bullyâs, she has a sensitive stomach so you will need to find a food that is suitable and doesnât cause her bellyache or sickness.
She is currently on forthglade sardine/salmon wet trays & salmon cold pressed pellets. However this food is pricey.
She also has bad ears so requires ear drops, ear cleaner and soothing gel. (which I will provide)
Skye has only ever known love, shes spoiled, has everything she wants and more. Shes so loved and deserves the world.
She needs an owner who is loving, patient and caring. Someone who can continue to treat her like the baby she is and someone who will NOT ill treat her, someone who has time..
Someone who understands she is NOT a guard/working dog, someone who doesnât get cross with her over mistakes, someone that is clear in setting boundaries but isnât aggressive and someone who is willing to continue the training she need.
She is great around other dogs and around kids. She has the softest temperament and is literally like a toddler, just always wants cuddles and to play.
She is NOT an XL, she doesnât meet the requirements and has been measured, she doesnât need to wear a muzzle.
