Last week Snowy went to what we hoped would become her forever home.
We knew that Snowy LOVES dogs outside — she is friendly on walks and happily shares play, zoomies and adventures with canine friends. But living together and sharing her home and humans is different for her.
Snowy is a confident, outgoing little girl, while the resident dog is much more cautious and reserved. Their personalities simply haven't been the right match, and the family have made the difficult decision that Snowy should find a home where she can be the one and only dog.
And they have nothing but lovely things to say about her. ❤️
🐾 Meet Snowy
Snowy is around 1 year old, a small terrier-type girl with a big personality. Her family describes her as “the sweetest, most loving and playful little soul.”
She loves people, happily comes over for cuddles and fuss and wants to be part of family life. But she also has a lovely independent side — when she's ready for some downtime, she will simply take herself to her basket for a nap.
At night she settles beautifully, sleeps right through and apparently wakes you in the morning with the sweetest waggy tail and little fox crawls. 🥹❤️

🐾 More About Snowy
Snowy really offers a lovely balance. She can be cuddly and affectionate, wants attention and involvement, but doesn't need to be permanently attached to you.
She is an active, curious young girl who loves exploring, sniffing and having fun. She particularly enjoys friendly dogs OUTSIDE her home, and we don't want her to lose that important social part of her life simply because she prefers having her home and humans to herself.
So for Snowy we are looking for something quite specific: ONE DOG AT HOME, but DOGGY FRIENDS OUTSIDE. 🐶❤️ Friendly dogs to walk with, playdates and opportunities to socialise would be an important part of her future life.
💔 Rescue Story
Snowy's life started in Ukraine, where she and her sisters were found abandoned in a rubbish bag beside a road. They were rescued and raised with love before Snowy eventually travelled to Britain.
She has already been deeply loved here too. Now we want her next move to finally give this little girl the long-term stability she deserves.
🏡 Ideal Home
Snowy needs an active, involved family with someone around, who will make her part of their life — walks, adventures, play, cuddles and plenty of interesting things for that curious little mind.
A secure private garden is important.
She is the best as the only dog in the home, where she doesn’t need to share and can enjoy being the centre of her family's attention, while continuing to have regular positive interaction with friendly dogs outside.

Snowy is sweet, funny, affectionate, confident and full of life. Somewhere is the family who will absolutely LOVE having this little character all to themselves — while her doggy friends can join her for the fun outside. 🐾❤️
