With a very heavy heart we are looking for a new home for our beautiful girl Nora.
Nora's current set up isn't the right environment for her (very busy household with lots of young children coming and going, small furries and cat). She needs an adult only home, someone experienced with spaniels and/or working breeds who will be around most of the time and can continue her training to help her settle into a confident adult. She has nipped our children and displayed some guarding behaviours that we have been working on with a behaviourist. She's been responding very well to training but I think would be happier in a home without children.
Nora hasn't lived with another dog but she is always happy to greet other dogs on walks so may get on well with a calmer older dog to show her the ropes. She lives with a cat at the moment but does chase him so probably better in a home without cats. She is crate trained, house trained, her recall is spot on, obedience training coming on really well. She loves her walks and retrieval games/scent work are life! She needs a home that can meet her needs for exercise and mental stimulation. She does currently suffer from separation anxiety so can't be left, but this is something that can be worked on with the right training. She can be nervous and needs a calm and gentle hand to keep building her confidence.
