Pros
Highly trainable and eager to please, excelling in both family and working roles
Produces a friendly, kind, and patient companion suitable for children and other pets
Adaptable to varied lifestyles yet thrives with regular mental and physical activity
Beautiful, water-resistant double coat with a gentle but resilient nature
Cons
Requires regular and sometimes frequent grooming to manage heavy shedding
Prone to separation anxiety if left alone for extended periods
Susceptible to various hereditary health issues, including cancers and joint conditions
Easily distracted and can develop mouthy behaviour if not trained appropriately
