We’re a small volunteer-run rescue and cannot accommodate meet-and-greet requests outside of our process. All enquiries must go through the application form first.
Meet Sable.
At around 6 years old, Sable is a gentle, sensitive girl who is slowly learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all.
She can be nervous when meeting new people and situations, but beneath that shy exterior is a lovely soul who just needs time, patience and understanding to help her confidence grow.
One thing Sable is certain about? Other dogs! 🐶
She absolutely adores canine company and gets on beautifully with every dog she meets. She shows no reactivity and takes great comfort from having other dogs around her, so we feel a home with a calm, friendly resident dog would really help her continue to flourish.
Food is definitely the way to Sable's heart, and treats are a wonderful way to build trust and strengthen your bond with her.
She walks beautifully on a lead, but because she can be worried by new environments, she needs time to settle and feel safe before venturing out. For this reason, a secure garden is essential, giving her a safe space to decompress, build confidence and form a connection with her new family first.
Watching Sable blossom in foster care has been incredibly rewarding. Every day she takes another small step forward, and with the right home, there's no doubt she will continue to grow into a happy, confident companion.
