🦎 Missy & Narla – Two Female Leopard Geckos Looking for a Loving Home
I’m looking to find a genuinely suitable, caring home for my two female leopard geckos, Missy and Narla.
They are both around 6 years old and I originally rescued them when they were only around 7 months old, from someone who unfortunately wasn’t providing them with the care they needed. Since then, they have been very well looked after and have never had any health problems.
They are both healthy, settled and used to being cared for properly. They aren’t the biggest leopard geckos and have always been naturally on the slimmer side, but this has always been normal for them and they have remained healthy throughout their lives.
Their main diet is crickets, although they absolutely love the occasional waxworm 🪱
🏠They will come with their complete setup
I’m not just selling the geckos themselves. They will come with everything they currently need, including:
• Vivarium – L:92cm x H:46cm x W:46cm
• Adjustable thermostat
• Heat lamp
• Lighting
• Reptisafe
• All of their current equipment and setup
• Other supplies I have available for them
I would much rather they go to someone who already understands leopard gecko care, or someone who has properly researched it and is genuinely prepared to take on the responsibility.
❤️ Please read this before enquiring
I will not sell Missy and Narla to just anyone.
I rescued them once because they weren’t being cared for properly, and I’m not willing to put them through that again.
Leopard geckos are relatively easy reptiles to care for compared with many other pets, but “easy to care for” does not mean “low responsibility.” They still need the correct heating, lighting, diet, supplementation, enclosure, cleaning and regular care — and, most importantly, they deserve to be treated as living animals rather than something cool to own.
I will be asking questions about your experience, setup and plans for caring for them. If I don’t feel that you’re prepared to give them a good home, I will not sell them.
I’m particularly keen for them to go to someone who genuinely wants to care for them long-term and understands that taking on two animals is a commitment.
I appreciate there are plenty of people who will simply want them because leopard geckos are cool, but that isn’t enough for me.
Missy and Narla have been with me for years and I want their next home to be their forever home ❤️
Please message me with a little bit about yourself, your experience with reptiles and the home/setup you would be providing for them.
