Description

It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our much-loved 5-year-old French Bulldog. This has not been an easy decision, but after ongoing issues between him and our other dogs, we feel that living separately is the safest and fairest option for everyone. He is neutered, house trained, and full of personality. He loves going for walks, playing with his toys, and spending time with his people. He is an energetic boy who would thrive in a home where he receives plenty of attention, exercise, and continued training. We are looking for a home where: * There are no young children, as we don’t feel this would be the right environment for him. * His new owner is willing to continue working on his recall before allowing him off lead. This is something we’ve been making progress with. * He is the only dog, as he does not get along well with other dogs in the home. He is house trained but does occasionally mark his territory, particularly in new environments, so his new owners should be prepared to continue managing this. He currently lives with a cat and will chase it. We can’t say for certain whether this is playful or due to prey drive, as the cat always runs away, so we would recommend a home without cats or other small animals, or one where introductions can be managed carefully. He doesn’t enjoy being crated and is happiest having free roam of the house. When left alone, we usually leave music on for him, which helps him settle. He has no medical conditions. He does have a small growth on his right leg, which has been checked by our vet and we’ve been advised that it is nothing to worry about. This is one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make, so we are in no rush. We want to find him the right forever home where he will be loved and cared for. A sensible rehoming fee will apply. This is purely to help ensure he goes to a responsible family who can provide for his needs and give him the loving home he deserves.
