Description
Arlo came into our family on 13 August 2025. His mum was a very placid show orange roan cocker-spaniel and Dad was a crazy red haired toy poodle.
As much as we love him, I do work full
Time and with having 2 children already who are demanding due to their own needs - I don’t have the time or mental space for him. I am now suffering with my own health, and having to incorporate a puppy into all of life’s chaotic set up is adding so much extra worry and stress.
Arlo is full of life, is very loving and likes a lot of attention. He loves his off the lead walks and is pretty good at recall (just note though, once he gets a scent or spies a horse he can be off!!)
He is relatively good at basic commands, but there is certainly room for more training.
He is still a pup and can mouth a lot, so lots of distractions are needed. Whilst he is a puppy he has decided my children would be his toys - this has been frustrating and have struggled to stop this - but from research this is fairly common.
He is a boy with lots of character and needs a family that can give him lots of fuss and time.
Please come and see him and I am happy to talk through our decision to try and rehome. Everyone comments on how wonderful and happy he is, when on walks and he likes to be belly rubbed and given lots of treats!!
