Just putting some feelers out there to see if anyone knows of a loving home that might be suitable for Cavapoo Rosie. Ideally, we’re looking for a couple on their own or a family with older children (5+). No other dogs are a must as Rosie does not get on with other dogs. When we got Rosie, we never anticipated our family growing, and since having Rosie we have had another child and are expecting another baby. Over time it’s become clear that she’s finding life with little ones quite stressful. She gets very nervous around babies, especially when they’re crawling, and she’s also very reactive to noise, barking at pretty much everything. A dog has recently moved in next door too, which has added to her stress. This isn’t a decision we’ve made lightly. Rosie is such a huge part of our family, and we are sad to be getting rid of her. If we did find the right person we would want you to meet Rosie a few times before deciding, and we would like to view your home to make sure its suitable for Rosie. We would also like to keep in touch, get updates, and hopefully visit her from time to time. We would also be happy to dog sit her if new owners went away etc. Knowing she’s happy and loved would mean everything to us. Rosie is nearly 7 years old and is the most loving girl. She’d happily spend all day curled up having cuddles! She doesn't like other dogs —she’s happy with a quick sniff and then likes to carry on with her walk. She’s good with cats and with children who are steady on their feet, but, as mentioned, she does struggle with babies and is very reactive to noise. At this stage, we’re simply seeing if there might be anyone suitable out there. Finding the right home is far more important than finding one quickly.
