Custard is a sociable, curious boy who loves being around people. His personality is still revealing itself, but one thing is already clear: he enjoys company and likes to be part of whatever is going on. When a group of friends came to visit recently, he happily joined everyone, spent time with the guests and made himself at home. He's not a shy wallflower!
He can be very affectionate, too. Custard loves head and chin scratches, often seeks out attention and can be a bit of a lap cat when the mood takes him. He's also comfortable letting people know when he's had enough. He can get overstimulated with too much petting and will let you know with a hiss or a bat on the rare occasion that occurs.
Custard is very food motivated and always interested in a treat. He's also curious about human food, so he'll need a home that keeps an eye on wandering paws and doesn't let him help himself to dinner! He's got a playful side and seems like a bright boy who picks up on people's cues and tone.
Overall, Custard is a sweet, engaging little character who is a delight to have around. He's still settling into life in a home and showing us more of who he is, but he's already proving to be a lovely companion.
