Description
Mocha was rescued from a public shelter – a place where his life was in real danger.
What he experienced before arriving there, we may never know. But when you look into his eyes, you instantly understand that this little boy has seen more hardship than any dog should.
The shelter environment overwhelms him deeply. The noise, the constant barking, the tension in the air… it is simply too much for a sensitive soul like Mocha.
He doesn’t panic.
He doesn’t react loudly.
He just stands there quietly.
Watching. Waiting.
With a soft, resigned expression — as if hoping someone will finally notice him and say, “You don’t belong here anymore.”
Mocha doesn’t need excitement.
He needs safety.
Warmth.
Peace.
He needs a place where his little heart can finally slow down.

Our dogs are family companions — not working, therapy or assistance dogs.
We remain available for post-adoption support and are a transparent rescue, actively involved in spay and neuter programmes. We have successfully placed over 500 dogs with families across the UK.

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
