Description
Rafaelo and Bella are a beautiful bonded breeding pair of kakarikis, both around one year old. They are proven breeders and have successfully raised three healthy chicks together a few months ago (see last image of advert).
They are currently showing clear signs of wanting to breed again and are ready for another clutch.
They will be sold with their cage and a nest box, so they are ready to go straight into a suitable setup. This makes them ideal for someone looking to breed without starting from scratch.
Both birds are friendly and well handled. They step up, eat from the hand, and will come to you on their own terms. The male can show occasional territorial or aggressive behaviour, which is typical during breeding, so they are recommended for an experienced owner or breeder who understands breeding behaviour.
They are healthy, active, and confident birds, and have been well cared for. The pair is being sold together only, as they are bonded and work well as a breeding pair.
