Hugo is a part-trained family detergent dog with an impressive early start in his working career. Since the age of six months, he has competed trials, including PDWW “Canine Colosseum” and events hosted by Lorockmor W-Dogs. He demonstrates an excellent balance of defensive capability and forward drive, making him highly effective in operational environments. Equally, Hugo maintains the affectionate and loyal temperament characteristic of the German Shepherd breed, showing a gentle and devoted nature within a family setting. With a fantastic off switch! Hugo is currently being prepared for his ZWP1 accreditation, scheduled for completion over the May Bank Holiday weekend. This accreditation assesses key attributes including pressure response, control, and sociability. Key Details: * 8 months old * Crate trained * Socialised with both male and female dogs of all ages * Clear of over 270 genetic diseases (DNA tested) * Kennel Club (KC) registered * Has been actively attending sites since 8 weeks old alongside trained dogs * Demonstrates sufficient training potential to complete NASDU and NTIPDU certifications *Currently has a 5.2ft female handler so would be a perfectly manageable dog to leave around the family to ensure assets are secure aswell as care and devotion in between to those around him. We are happy to continue Hugo’s training through to 12 months of age, at which point he can also undergo hip and elbow scoring through the BVA. - Hugo will be sold with a contract of sale for his safety! - If you wish for us to hold him for a period of time then we will require a deposit with signed confirmation receipt.
