Beautiful LALA is a sweet but naturally cautious girl who needs something very specific: a peaceful, understanding home where she can feel safe and live entirely without children. ❤️
She is not the sort of dog who immediately jumps into a stranger’s arms. LALA needs time to observe, build trust and approach life at her own pace—but once she knows that she is safe, she becomes comfortable with her adults and forms a genuine bond with them. 🥰
💔 LALA’S STORY
LALA was originally found after being cruelly dumped together with her daughter, LILY.
At that time, LALA was extremely nervous and found it very difficult to trust people. Her daughter gave her confidence and helped her cope with the frightening changes in her life.
In May 2025, LALA and LILY were adopted together by a young family. With Lily beside her and the patience of her adopters, LALA made wonderful progress and settled into life as a family dog. 🏡❤️
Unfortunately, her family are now expecting a baby in November. Although LALA has never bitten anybody, she remains uncomfortable around children. During walks in the park, she has growled and occasionally snapped when children approached her.
Her adopters have therefore made the very difficult decision to return her. This is not because LALA is a bad dog—it is because she is frightened by children and needs an environment where she will never be placed under that pressure.
LILY will remain with the adopters, so LALA is now searching for a new home of her own.

LALA is comfortable with adults once she gets to know them, but she is naturally reserved. She is not an immediately bouncy, demonstratively affectionate dog and should never be pressured into physical contact.
Her adopter must allow her to approach, investigate and build trust in her own time. Patience will be essential, especially during her first weeks in a new environment.
🐕 LIFE WITH OTHER ANIMALS
LALA can live with a calm, friendly and confident dog. In fact, the presence of a settled resident dog may help her feel safer and adapt to her new home, just as Lily helped her previously. ❤️
She has never lived with cats. However, she has seen cats around her neighbourhood and showed no particular interest in them. This is encouraging, but it cannot be considered a full cat assessment, so any introduction would need to be managed carefully.
LALA currently remains alone with Lily for a couple of hours each day and copes with this arrangement. Because she has not regularly been left entirely without another dog, any solo time in a new home should be introduced gradually.

LALA requires a quiet, patient and experienced adult-only home.

Her discomfort around children must be taken seriously. Although she has never bitten, she has growled and snapped when approached by children during walks. These are clear warnings that she feels frightened and needs more distance.
Her future adopter must advocate for her in public, prevent children from approaching or touching her and give her the space she needs to feel safe.
Her ideal home would offer:

LALA does not need somebody who expects instant affection. She needs somebody who understands that earning the trust of a nervous dog is something very special.

After living in a home since May 2025, losing both her familiar family and her daughter will be a major emotional change for LALA. We therefore need to choose her next home extremely carefully.
She deserves someone who will accept her exactly as she is—not force her to become a different dog—and who will give her the quiet, child-free life in which she can finally feel secure. ❤️
