Description

Beautiful Penny is looking for a new home after her adopter has had a change in circumstances 💔 Penny would prefer to be the only dog. She could possibly calm older children, 13+ but can't live with cats or small animals. Background – Penny first arrived in our care in 2023, where little was known about her history. She was adopted by her foster carer and has lived the past 3 years as a much loved pet but a change in circumstances means she’s now looking for a new adoptive home. Character – Penny is an all rounder: affectionate, energetic AND intelligent. She’s very well adjusted to home life, and has recently taken up agility training! This little girl is a true sweetie and loves meeting people, so she makes a very loving companion to take on adventures. Type of home – Penny is looking for an active home. She can’t live with cats or small animals, but she may be able to live with another dog, subject to slow, successful introductions. She can be dog-selective on walks, and introductions to other dogs should be careful and slow. Adopting – Penny is currently in our kennels (between Cheddar and Wells) and potential adopters will need to visit them here. Our catchment area for rehoming is Somerset and the local surrounding areas (such as Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare and Wiltshire).
