Zeus – 8 Month Old Pedigree German Shepherd (Working Line)
Zeus is an 8-month-old pedigree German Shepherd with working-line background. He is a bright, energetic young dog who loves playing with sticks and balls and enjoys attention from people he knows and trusts.
Zeus is a loyal dog who forms strong bonds, but he is currently struggling with reactivity. He is reactive to people (including children) and other dogs, particularly when out on walks, and needs to be managed at a safe distance. He is currently being muzzle-trained and wears a muzzle in public as a precaution.
Zeus is an unsure and sensitive dog who finds the world overwhelming at times. For this reason, he will need an experienced and confident owner who understands reactive dogs and is committed to ongoing training. He would be best suited to someone familiar with the German Shepherd breed or working dogs, who can provide clear structure, leadership, and patience.
Due to his needs, Zeus is not suitable for homes with children or other pets at this stage. He would be best placed in a calm, adult-only home where he can feel secure and continue his development.
Unfortunately, due to a change in circumstances, Zeus is now living in a flat environment which does not meet his needs, and this has contributed to his stress levels. He would benefit greatly from a home with more space and a consistent routine.
With the right person, time, and training, Zeus has the potential to develop into a fantastic and loyal companion.
