It is rare that a dog of Hobbs’ quality becomes available. At just 2 years 10 months, this striking, athletic boy offers the perfect balance of youthful energy and well-mannered maturity. Standing 19” to the shoulder and weighing 19kg he is a medium sized boy.
Hobbs is home-bred, so we have known him since the day he was born and raised him with the highest standards of care. He comes from extensively health-tested parents with excellent temperaments, and he himself has been thoroughly health-tested:
• DNA clear for all breed-specific hereditary conditions
• BVA Hip Score: 0/0
• BVA Elbow Score: 2/2
He has never suffered illness or injury, has never shown aggression or behavioural issues, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. All health certificates and veterinary records will be available to view.
No expense has been spared in his upbringing. Hobbs is an extremely fit, healthy dog with a beautiful coat and athletic build. He has a super temperament, is eager to please, and is a well-mannered, loving boy who lives for his daily walks, swimming in the beck, playing ball in the garden, and curling up on the sofa with his people. After a good run on the field he settles beautifully during the day. He treats everyone he meets with polite curiosity, sleeps soundly in his crate overnight, is impeccably clean in the house, and has never been destructive.
The ideal home for Hobbs
We are looking for a dedicated forever home where he can continue to thrive. The right family will have:
• A secure garden of a reasonable size
• Owners who are physically active and have plenty of time to share with him
• A lifestyle that includes him in daily activities and provides the companionship, exercise and mental stimulation he needs
Hobbs has not lived with cats or small animals and will chase them. He lives happily with other dogs, provided any males are neutered and not dominant. He has not lived with children, so we are not considering homes with young children.
Because we care deeply about his future, Hobbs will only go to the right home. We will ask questions and, where possible, would like to visit potential new homes.
