Description

Here we have Dotty, our 2 year old miniature dachshund. Unfortunately she has not been with us long. We originally adopted dotty as a companion for our 1 year old Female French Bulldog, as time has gone on our Frenchie has become guarded when it’s feeding times and also has shown a reactive side when with dotty. Dotty was a rescue dog, who we adopted as she had been heavily used for breeding and unfortunately didn’t have the best life. In the short time we have had dotty she has fully come out of her shell and is such a beautiful, happy girl. She is amazing with children of all ages and does show signs of wanting to play with our frenchie and has met other dogs on walks so we know she is brilliant with other dogs, but due to our frenchies reactive side towards dotty we are having to keep both dogs apart to reduce the risk of her potentially getting hurt. Dotty has been with us around a month now but keeping the dogs apart is proving to be too much for us and it’s not fair on either dog. Dotty is an extremely calm and loving dog who enjoys sitting next to us on the sofa or cuddling our children, we are extremely upset this hasn’t worked out but again it is unfair to always keep the dogs separated. She is not a barker and is extremely quiet. She loves to sunbathe in the garden also. PLEASE NOTE, dotty is harmless. She is great with other dogs. It is our dog who has unfortunately become guarded and reactive to Dotty Dotty has been flea/tick treated, worm treated, fully bathed and groomed. Please only 5* homes for a beautiful girl.
