Description
Visla x pointer liver coloured (chocolate brown) We are trying to find a loving home for our Gypsy who will be 3 years old at the end of March. She is fully house trained, crate trained and very good on recall. This is a difficult and heartbreaking decision for us all as Gypsy is loved so much and a huge part of our family. We have 2 severely autistic children, our non verbal son has sadly become increasingly more challenging and still continues to do so as the weeks go by and our entire family life has been flipped upside down over the last year or so. We are really struggling, our son requires 2:1 care the majotity of the day/night and as sad as it is Gypsy's needs are not being put first. We want Gypsy to have a home where she is able to be centre of attention (which she loves) vislas by breed are extemely loving and loyal dogs. Gypsy needs a good size garden and lots of walks, she adores the beach and water, her swimming has improved but it will make you laugh. Gypsy loves to stretch out or snuggle up tight under a blanket, she loves and needs lots of human attention. She is good with children and other dogs, loves to play, if you meet another visla out walking they will go bonkers together. Gypsy's favourite thing is having her belly stroked, she loves balls and playing tug of war. Personally although we have youngish children i do think a home with children over 6 years would be better as she is a big dog and very dippy at times, she loves to stare at light rays and shadows. We live in a rural area and have wild deer and rabbits ect everywhere, gypsy never barks at or chases them. She does pull on the lead and is strong but i would say that is the only negative thing i could mention. Gypsy will come with her XL Kong crate, leads, collars, beds, bowls and a selection of ripped soft toys as they never last very long! She will also come with her food to get you started. Gypsy is fully insured with petplan which any new owner is welcome to tale over the policy, she is spayed, flea and worm treated and upto date on all vaccinations. She has never been sick, she had a suspected tail fracture a year ago which was all dealt with at the vets and is fully healed. She is the absolute perfect family dog and we will miss her terribly, we are doing this because we love her and cannot give her the life she deserves. We have tried for a year and we can't. Exceptional homes only, ideally people who are experienced with larger dogs. We don't want any money but are asking for £100 to put off non serious potential people, this can be discussed if the right family come along. If you would like to meet Gypsy and join us on a walk and see her in her home environment and truly believe you can give her a permanant loving, active home then please do get in touch. Thanks for reading if you got this far. Trust me Gypsy will be worth it when you meet her.
