❤️ Ember spent nearly a year in Romania being overlooked before being given the opportunity of stepping into a wonderful foster home.
Ember is a beautiful, sweet-natured girl who is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She can be nervous around visitors and unfamiliar people, dogs and situations when out walking, sometimes becoming very low or stopping altogether.
But Ember is making lovely progress. She is beginning to seek affection from her foster mum, is happy to see her in the morning, and loves her food, treats and toys. She absolutely adores other dogs and has started playing with the dogs in foster. Having another confident dog beside her really helps her feel secure.
Ember is house trained, non-destructive and sleeps happily downstairs in her safe space with another dog nearby. She can be left for around 4 hours when she has canine company, but will howl if left without another dog.
She is comfortable wearing a collar, harness and lead and walks well, although she can criss-cross in front and behind you and will need someone patient who understands that she is still learning.
Ember would love a calm, patient home where someone will gently build her confidence and celebrate every little step forward. She is a big softie who just needs someone to show her that life can be wonderful. ❤️
