Description
Sadly having to rehome our beautiful boy. He is a happy healthy boy, loves his walks, loves his food and to lie in your lap to sleep on the sofa. The bad parts, I will be transparent here as finding the right home is important. Having 3 dogs, Louie is constantly fighting and wanting the attention that if he doesn't get, or he doesn't get it first he will attack the others to ensure he is first. For this reason we believe he'd be suited to an only dog household. I must stress that He has never shown any aggression to visiting dogs, dogs on walks or dogs in the play park. Just in our home to our other 2. He can be vocal to get what he wants, and is noise sensitive to what he can't see so while bark and whine. so in our busy household and him having to wait when he doesn't want too, he becomes a diva throwing a strop for not getting his own way.
It is sad because he's a lovely dog really. I can imagine he'd be totally fantastic by himself where he isn't competing with other dogs for attention. He is fantastic with children of all ages. He also can live with cats as isn't fazed by them in the slightest. Loves his walks. He will let you bath him but doesn’t like water other than that.
He will eat anything food wise and is a nice healthy sized pug. We’ve made sure not to over feed as the risk of obesity in this breed is high. No health issues
He has been done so chance of breeding.
He does NOT have any recall.
Could do with some extra house training. Currently uses belly bands to stop him from toileting inside. These help as he doesn’t even go in them. Crate trained over night and crate trained for when we aren’t in the house.
New home will be checked. Must have ongoing contact.
