Description

Urgently looking for a loving and responsible new home for our 6-month-old male Turkish Kangal. He is an extremely friendly, affectionate and good-natured dog who loves being around people. He has a lovely temperament and has been very friendly with everyone he has met. He gets on well with other dogs. However, due to his behaviour around our parrot, we would prefer him to go to a home without birds or other small pets. We only recently got him ourselves and he came to us without vaccinations. He will be microchipped before collection and we are also arranging a general vet health check. His new owner will need to arrange his vaccination course with their vet. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected change in circumstances, we are no longer able to provide the long-term time and commitment that a large breed like a Kangal requires, so we urgently need to find him a suitable permanent home. He is still young but already a large and strong dog and will continue to grow, so we would ideally like him to go to someone with experience with large dogs or guardian breeds and enough secure space for him. We are looking to rehome him as soon as possible, but we still want to make sure he goes to a genuine and suitable home. Please message with some information about yourself, your experience with dogs and the home you can offer him. Viewings are welcome and he can leave as soon as the right home is found.
