Description
Lovely male guinea pig looking for a new home where he can thrive. I took him in yesterday after it became clear that he was the one bullying his two brothers. The bond is broken. Unfortunately, the previous owners appear not to have realised that groups of three guinea pigs can sometimes be difficult to maintain harmoniously.
He is approximately a year old (the previous owners said they got him last Christmas). He is a **very dominant boy with a strong personality** and clearly likes to be in charge. He is also very shy and nervous in this new environment, but with patience and a calm home, I think he will really come out of his shell.
I feel he would be best suited to being neutered and carefully bonded with a compatible female/female herd, or potentially living alongside compatible males with suitable neighbouring enclosures. Bonding with other guinea pigs would be at the adopter's own risk, as compatibility can never be guaranteed.
I will require photos/videos of the indoor enclosure before agreeing to rehome him, and his welfare and suitability of the home will be my priority.
He will come with a small amount of food for change over. He is fed Science Selective.
Looking for an experienced, responsible home that understands guinea pig companionship, welfare and appropriate housing.
