Description

Leo is a lovely one-year-old rescue boy who is looking for a new home where his personality and needs will be properly understood. He is an extremely affectionate and sociable cat who enjoys being around people and being part of family life. He likes to stay close to his humans and even has a very sweet habit of gently licking you to show affection. Leo is also young, energetic, playful and curious. Most of the time he is a very loving, easy companion, but he can occasionally become over-excited or over-stimulated during play or interaction and find it difficult to switch off. When this happens, his play can become rather too intense. For this reason, we feel Leo would be happiest with an experienced and confident cat owner who understands feline behaviour, can recognise when he is becoming over-stimulated, and is comfortable setting calm and consistent boundaries. We also think he would benefit from a quieter home in a more rural or semi-rural setting, where he can eventually have safe access to the outdoors and plenty of space and stimulation. Ideally, this would not be in an area with a very high concentration of neighbouring cats. Leo should be the only cat in the home, and because of his occasionally boisterous nature, we feel an adult household or one with sensible older children would be most appropriate. He is well litter-trained, easy to care for and not fussy with food. He is in very good health, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Leo really is a wonderfully affectionate boy with a lot of personality and so much love to give. He simply needs a home that suits his energetic nature and someone who understands that, like many young cats, he can sometimes get a little carried away! We would love to find him a patient, kind and experienced home where he can settle properly and become a much-loved member of the family for life.
