Red border collie for STUD to border collie only.
Looking to breed my boy to a red bitch or a red carrying bitch, as i'd like to keep a puppy from the litter, instead of payment.
He is an exceptionally smart boy, knowing well over 50 different commands/tricks. Very active boy who regularly hikes, camps, bikekjores, and swims with myself. He is loving with all people and is a big softy, very handler focused and takes direction extremely well. He comes from working lines up in Aberfeldy and was bred by a farmer named Simon Pepper OBE who helped found the national parks in scotland. His puppies could very well make great workers and companion pets alike.
I am currently awaiting genetic testing results for border collie specific diseases and will update when i receive them. The vet is very happy with his condition.
He is a big boy, weighing approx 25kg (55lbs) and is around 25" at the shoulders also. His mother was quite large also at around 20kg. He is perfectly healthy and proportional for his size.
He has not been bred before. He is 8 years old now and i am breeding as i would like a puppy from him, as he is truly an exceptional dog. I recently lost my other dog and would be ready to have another in a few months time, so putting an ad up now.
