Description

A special home is needed for a special boy! Arlo is 2-3 this year. He's a 3/4 Frenchie cross. He is a very nervous dog. He would need to be the only dog! Someone who has a lot of time and potentially a behaviorist's help. Unfortunately, his behavior around our older male has gotten a lot worse. Because he is so nervous, the vets have recommended he not be snipped, due to that potentially making him more "nervous," as testosterone is also the confidence hormone. He's a very loving, cuddly boy once you get to know him; he is gorgeous! He is also being walked on a head harness due to being reactive/nervous about anything that moves. Unfortunately, we are having to make this tough choice after many vet visits and going through multiple trainers, all to no avail. We just can't have the boys keep fighting or being around the children fighting. Arlo will not just go to anyone; I will want to see the home he will go to and be sure the person will cope with him. I will happily stay in touch. This is not an easy decision; he is a big part of the family. He is so daft and soft. He has the potential to be a very good boy! Unfortunately, being around our older male is not the best for him. He does take some warming up! But once he loves you, he's the most loving, silly boy!
