Meet beautiful sisters Jasmine and Rose, a very special pair who are now ready to find their forever home together. These girls have a lovely bond and are often found grooming, sleeping and keeping each other company.
Rose is the more confident of the two. She is friendly, playful and loves a good stroke, especially head scratches! Once she gets to know you, she will happily seek you out for affection and can turn into a complete little snuggle bug. She also has a playful side and enjoys having a mad five minutes in the evenings.
Rose is incredibly sweet with her sister and often grooms and looks after Jasmine.
Jasmine is the more timid girl and will need a little more time and patience to come out of her shell. She isn't ready for strokes just yet and is quite happy keeping herself to herself, but she loves sitting in her window hammock alongside Rose, watching the world go by.
Jasmine would really benefit from a quiet, peaceful home where she isn't rushed and can build her confidence at her own pace. Having Rose by her side gives her a huge amount of reassurance, so these two will need to stay together.
A LITTLE ABOUT THEIR HEALTH
We also want to be completely transparent about their family medical history.
Jasmine and Rose have NOT been diagnosed with feline eosinophilic granuloma complex (EGC). Their brother, Ryder, has been diagnosed with EGC, which presents as ulcers in his mouth and on some areas of his skin. He continues to eat normally and we have not seen obvious signs that these are causing him pain or discomfort.
So far, we have not seen any outward signs of EGC in Jasmine or Rose.
Because they are siblings, we are taking sensible steps to help prevent or reduce the likelihood of them developing similar issues. They are currently eating a high-quality, grain-free kibble made with 100% meat, and we are maintaining good flea prevention and a clean environment.
We feel it is important to share this information with potential adopters, not because we expect Jasmine or Rose to develop EGC, but simply because we believe adopters should have all the information we have about their background.
At present, both girls are happy, healthy and enjoying life, with no outward signs of the condition.
These girls are looking for a home that will give them the time, patience, love and security they deserve.
Rose is ready to be your little shadow and soak up all the attention, while Jasmine will need someone who is happy to let her come out of her shell in her own time. Together, they make a lovely pair and we would love to see them find a peaceful forever home where they can stay together.
