💙 Loki is a 2.5-year-old l mixed-breed boy, strong and athletic in build, with the most wonderful temperament you could hope for. He is the definition of a balanced, well-raised family dog — kind, affectionate, playful and deeply bonded to people.
There is not a wrong bone in Loki’s body. A once-in-a-lifetime family dog and the best kind of canine companion. Whoever welcomes him home will be incredibly lucky.

💔 Rescue Story
Loki has been deeply loved and responsibly raised. His surrender comes only because his owner’s health has declined and ongoing treatment will require time away in another city, making it impossible to meet Loki’s exercise and care needs.
His family says:
"Loki is a loving and very very well loved dog. I could send you so many photos of how much this boy is loved. I would not consider this unless I had no other choice. It will be a heartbreaking decision for our family but I have to look at what is best for him and if I cannot meet his most basic need of exercise and being active then im not doing my very best for him"
This decision has not been taken lightly. Every alternative was explored. Loki is not being given up because of behaviour, difficulty, or incompatibility — but because his owner loves him enough to put his needs first.
🐾 More About Loki
Loki is everything people hope for in a dog. He has grown up in a busy family home with a young children, visitors coming and going, cats in the household, and regular interaction with other dogs. He takes all of this in his stride.
His family says:
"He is well socialised. He plays well with other dogs. He sleeps with the cat and my son and you can see he likes to be near the cat and the cat is fine being near him "
He walks beautifully, responds to both verbal and hand-signal commands, and has excellent manners both indoors and outdoors. He is confident around traffic, waits calmly at crossings, and enjoys structured walks as much as free sniffing and playtime.
Loki is playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being demanding, and calm in the home after his exercise needs are met. He loves fetch, tug games, training sessions with treats, and curling up for cuddles. He is crate trained, clean in the house, and can be left for short time without issue after fully settled.
He plays happily with other dogs, walks as part of a pack, and is trusted around cats — a rare and valuable combination.
