Description
❤️ Polly (Zoe) ❤️
Can you guess why my name is Polly? Apparently it's something to do with my extra thumbs 👍 and toes (polydactyl - not to be confused with the flying dinosaur 🦕 🙃)
I'm pretty unique as you can see with my gorgeous 😍 markings and opposable thumbs 😃
Don't worry, my extra digits don't cause me any issues or need any treatment and in fact, they are pretty handy 😉 no pun intended!
I was what humans call a 'stray' who gave birth near an industrial unit and a very busy road. I tried to keep my kittens as safe as I could but one of my babies died 😭 and I don't know what happened to two of my other babies. I hope someone found them and gave them good homes 🏡 🙏
A very kind human called Zac noticed me and my kittens and started to feed us. This is even more amazing than you could imagine as Zac has a phobia of cats 🐈 🐈⬛️
Zac reached out to One Cat at a Time for help as he was worried about our safety. My 4 remaining kittens went straight in the metal contraption and I was easily scooped up into a carrier. So, away we went and into a cat 'pen'.
I don't know why they call it a pen but compared to living outdoors, exposed to the elements, this was much nicer 😀
We have a H-U-G-E, soft bed 🛌 for me to rest my tootsies on, toys for the baby kittens and food four times a day! It's like being in a luxury hotel!
One day, I had to go to the V-E-T-S where they shaved my side and put some pretty stitches in 🪡 They said it was to prevent me from having more babies which is good as they are very hard work!
Two of my boys (Zac and Zeus) have been adopted already. I've heard how happy they are and all the space and attention they have and decided I would like a home too, preferably with one of my 2 remaining boys.
Now over to one of the humans to tell you a bit more about me and the kind of home I'd like.
Hope to see you soon!

📅 Approximately 3 years old
🪡 Spayed
🆔️ Microchipped
🪱 Up-to-date with parasite treatmen
💉 Fully vaccinated
🐈 Could live with another male cat with careful introductions ✅️
🐕 Polly has not been around dogs but may be able to live with a respectful, cat savvy dog with careful introductions. We can dog test her with our own rescue dog 🐶
👶 Polly can live with children who are respectful of a cat's needs. Under 5's would need to be supervised ✅️
🏡 Polly would eventually like outdoors access after an initial containment period of 6 weeks. No busy roads or within close proximity of busy roads unless there is a catio or the garden has a cat containment system.
Polly is very friendly and sweet, not at all feisty as some torties can be.
Although Polly can be an only cat if she has safe, outdoor access, she would like a home with one of her kittens if possible.
