Description
Advertised is my blue Indian Ringneck, Rio. He is approximately 9 months old. I recently purchased him, but unfortunately I need to rehome him due to a change in circumstances.
Rio was hand-reared by his previous owner; however, I don’t believe regular interaction was maintained, so he has become a bit timid around hands. That said, he is still very young and has great potential to be trained and re-tamed, with a solid foundation from being hand-reared.
He will step up on command using a stick or perch and really enjoys being out of his cage. He’s a lovely bird, and I’m looking for a good, caring home for him.
His wings were clipped previously, but they are growing back. He can currently fly short distances. I believe he has strong potential for talking and is already attempting to mimic tunes.
