Berta’s life almost ended before it truly began.
She was found abandoned on the side of a lonely road, cold, starving, and completely alone. Her tiny body was weak from hunger, her fur damp from freezing nights, and her eyes full of quiet fear. She had no shelter, no food, and no one to protect her. Each passing hour pushed her closer to the edge.
By the time rescuers reached her, Berta was barely holding on. She was trembling uncontrollably, too weak to cry, too exhausted to stand. Wrapped in a blanket and held close, she finally felt warmth — perhaps for the first time in her life. That moment saved her.
Slowly, with food, safety, and gentle care, Berta began to recover. The frightened little puppy who almost faded away transformed into a joyful soul full of curiosity and love.
Today, Berta is a gentle, good-natured, obedient, and adorably clumsy puppy. Her funny ears still flop in different directions, and her wet little nose explores everything with excitement. She’s a little silly, endlessly charming, and full of puppy joy.
She already has a beautiful brave spirit — fearless, curious, and eager to discover the world. She loves swimming in lakes, racing through the forest, and happily walks on a lead. With time, she will grow into a truly stunning dog — but even now, she is already perfect in every imperfect way.
Berta survived hunger, cold, and abandonment — and still chose to love.
Now she is searching for a forever family who will never let her feel forgotten again, who will protect her, cherish her, and give her the life she so deeply deserves.

Please complete our adoption application form, or call/text us to arrange a visit to meet the dog of your choice, as well as all other dogs currently available for adoption.
Meet & Match Visit
During your visit, we will discuss your lifestyle, expectations, and the dog’s needs to ensure the best possible match for both you and the dog.
Paperwork & Adoption
If everything is agreed, the adoption paperwork will be completed on the day, and you will be able to take your dog home immediately.
