We are looking for a dedicated, loving forever home for Pepe, a wonderful Red-Shouldered Macaw (also known as a Hahn’s Macaw) who was hatched in 2007. Pepe belonged to an elderly relative who recently passed away, and we want to ensure he goes to a home where he will continue to get the daily attention and interaction he deserves. Our home is unsuitable, as we cannot give Pepe the attention he truly needs. Pepe is an absolutely lovely, sweet-natured bird. Because he was raised in a quiet, attentive household, he is well-socialized, intelligent, and a true pleasure to have around. Hahn's Macaws are fantastic, full-sized macaw personalities in a much more manageable mini-macaw size. He comes with a high-quality cage that we recently purchased for him, which is fully included in the price. Please note that our asking price reflects the value of his cage setup and, most importantly, acts as a rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a serious, committed home with the knowledge and resources to care for a parrot.
