Description
It’s with a heavy heart I’m in this position looking to rehome Axel my Lab X Lurcher. I never thought I’d be here but our circumstances have changed and there is now a 7-8 hour window where no one is home and he will be alone. Axel lives on a house with 3 young kids and 2 cats. Occasionally he will try to play with my cats but they’re not interested and shoo him off. Axel is fully house trained and always goes outside for loo. He is crate trained and sleeps in crate overnight. His leash behaviour is slightly odd , he does pull more so when he sees other dogs. He has been socialised with other dogs from young and is very good with other dogs. He’s very playful and jumpy so other dogs sometimes aren’t fond of him. He is genuinely gold. He does have a tendency when home alone to chew shoes if he can find them but we just keep them out his way and were normally okay. He loves shredding cardboard which is slightly annoying but has never chewed furniture.
In preference I’d like Axel to go to a home where he won’t need to be left alone much as well as someone who can support his active lifestyle. His pulling can be rectified with some training I never got round to doing this.
I will allow Axel to go to a loving home Free of Charge. May ask to visit your house with Axel.
