Description
It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my beautiful boy Snoop. Due to mine and my partners chronic illness and declining health, I can no longer give him the active life he deserves. This is a reluctant sale of a truly "turn-key" dog who has been raised with love and discipline.
About Him
Age: Almost 2 years old. Neutered, microchiped.
Temperament: Incredibly loving, well-socialized, and amazing with children. Fine to be left no seperation anxiety, can be trusted to free roam at home does not destroy what's not his. He knows when you are upset and gives me shoulder cuddles to calm me during episodes, a very good service dog. You can remove food from his mouth and feed around other animals he has been trained in this since pup.
Household: Currently lives happily with a cat in a bungalow with front and back garden. Loves to say hello to neighbours and passerbys be it animal or human.
Training: Fully crate trained (and loves his "den"). He sleeps soundly until you are ready to start your day. He knows commands, knows to wait for food and release, knows to wait when needed. Sits at the curb, waits to get out of the car. Knows hand signals, whistle and clicker. Very easy to command with treats!
Recall: Excellent. He stays close and doesn't chase prey, though he appreciates calm, encouraging communication to keep his focus.
The Perfect Companion
He is a versatile boy who is just as comfortable "on the road" as he is at home. He is the ultimate partner for:
Outdoor Adventures: He is a natural on the fishing bank and loves being part of the action. Loves to swim and to watch the world go by, fine being teathered and has slept in his own crate and tent when wild camping and fishing. A very adaptable dog who is not stuck on a routine he is fine with change and going with what you need.
Stress-Free Grooming: He is a gentleman for the groomers and handles full clips with no issues. He waits every morning to clean his teeth.
Health: Up to date on all vet checks and has been maintained on a comprehensive wellness plan.
What He Needs.
I am looking for a home where he will be a central part of the family. Somewhere he will flourish and be adored because it's all he deserves. He is truly one of a kind and a beautiful boy.
Note: This is an incredibly difficult situation, and he will only go to a 5-star home where his training and affectionate nature will be appreciated. And I also would like to not spend too long as this is truly one the hardest things.
