Hi, other ad got blocked due to being old, however I’m looking for an EXPERIENCED owner with cockatiels of their own to possibly adopt Bami into a home, not an aviary. Please share pictures/videos of your birdies cage set up, what they eat and if you can let me know how close your nearest avian vet is. Do not message asking if he’s still available, if the ad is up he is. I will either deliver him or you can come collect him. I will also like to meet up in person to see you and your birdies as a final check, just so I can know you better as a person and see if he would get along with your birdies. The adoption fee is simply fuel costs, I just need a really good home for him, and the reason for having to rehome him is because circumstances have made it where I have to move out into student accommodation for university, and I know my family don’t know how to care for birds and don’t want to. His sister passed in February after suffering cardiac arrest post surgery and I’ve felt really bad and guilty for him being alone, since I know how much he loves playing and interacting with other birdies. His diet is 1/3 Harrison’s pellets, 1/3 bestbehavedbirds seed mix and 1/3 johnston & Jeff seed mix (which I’ve been working to get him off of). I also give him a plate of varied greens, vegetables and sometimes apples/grape/mango alongside his breakfast. He doesn’t have any health issues, his insurance was exotic direct and I have him registered at Arks Veterinary Practise in Sheffield. He can’t whistle any songs, however he does make cute special noises, sometimes he’ll do a very bad wolf whistle, or kiss your hand, he also likes to play peekaboo. He’ll come with all his current stuff, like his flight cage, his perches, his toys/foraging stuff, his swing, his rope nets, his tree stand, cleaning stuff, etc.
