4-Year-Old Male Cockapoo Looking for a Loving Adult-Only Home – £200 It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking for the right new home for my 4-year-old male Cockapoo. This has been a very difficult decision, but I need to do what is best for him and our other dog. Unfortunately, he and our older male dog have developed ongoing conflict and they can fight. He is fine with our female dog and also attends doggy daycare where he mixes with other dogs without problems. However, because I don't want to risk the same situation happening again, I am looking for a home where he will be the only pet. No other dogs, cats or other pets in the home please. He does have a tendency to chase cats and other animals when out on walks. He can be anxious and reactive when out walking, but he is much better and manageable using a figure-8 lead. He can also react to knocks at the door and sometimes to animals on the TV. He doesn't like being pulled about or handled roughly and may give a warning if he feels uncomfortable. He has never bitten or hurt anyone. For this reason, I am looking for an adult-only home with no children, where his boundaries will be understood and respected. He is up to date with his vaccinations, flea treatment and worming. He needs a patient and understanding owner who can offer him a calm, secure and loving home. I am in no rush to rehome him — finding the right home is much more important to me than finding one quickly. Please only enquire if you can offer him an adult-only, pet-free home and have seriously considered the commitment involved. I will be asking questions about potential homes to make sure he goes to the right person.
