It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a very special forever home for my beautiful Maine Coon girl, Simmy.
Simmy was born on 1 July 2023 and is now neutered. She is fully vaccinated, regularly flea and worm treated, and has always been very well cared for.
Simmy is a gentle, sensitive girl who would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home where she can be the only pet.
Since being neutered, she has become noticeably quieter and she no longer enjoys living with our other cats. She prefers her own space and is much happier when she is away from the noise and activity of a busy household.
Because of this, I am specifically looking for:
- An adult-only home
- No young children
- No other cats
- A calm, peaceful environment
- Someone patient who will allow her time to settle
- Someone who wants a quieter, more independent companion
Simmy is not being rehomed because of any behavioural problem. I simply feel that her current environment is no longer the right fit for her personality, and I want to give her the opportunity to be somewhere she can truly relax and feel secure.
This is an incredibly difficult decision for me. With a young baby who requires a great deal of my time and attention, I can no longer give all of my cats the individual care and one-to-one time they deserve.
I am therefore looking for the right home rather than the quickest home, and I will be selective about where Simmy goes.
