Meet Spot aka Hamish!!
We are lucky enough to be fostering this handsome fellow at Penny Paws HQ in Hook, Hampshire.
Spot was run over by a car as a kitten and his back leg couldn't nt be saved. But this cat is held back by nothing!! Im amazed at the way he speeds around the house and you wouldn't know he only has 3 legs other than obviously you can see there is only 3 legs on him...!
Hes a very gentle, calm soul. He previously had outdoor access but doesn't seem remotely phased by the indoor life of foster care so i think an indoor home wouldn't be a major issue although of course it would be nice if he had the option.
He's such a lovely cat and has blended in to our big family of cats, kids and family lifestyle. I think he would fit in as a new addition to a family or as a companion for someone in need of a buddy.

To reserve a cat or kitten we ask for non refundable £50 deposit per individual . The rest is paid on collection. Again, pets4homes does not allow me to make this clear when posting the ads.

Rescues are full and waiting lists are long, so I foster the poppets with nowhere else to go - sadly there are many of them.
I have built a network of wonderful people that I communicate with and work with to enable me to find, rescue, foster, rehabilitate, treat and ultimately rehome as many as I can. It’s a full time ‘job’ but I make no profit financially - although I it definitely benefits me spiritually to do this.
I believe that every cat deserves to be loved and to feel safe. And while I can’t help them all, I do as much as I can. In order for this to work, I use my own finances, every penny of adoption fees and also kind donations to cover my costs of caring for current residents and whoever comes next (this includes providing the necessary food, litter, toys, vets bills for spaying, neutering, MoTs and medication etc - overwhelmingly high and never ending..). Or to contribute to the costs of the people caring for the cats I don’t have capacity for.
I ask for a small non refundable deposit (per cat) and the rest is paid on collection. I consider adoption offers very carefully. It’s so important to me that my fosters go to safe, loving and permanent homes so I have certain questions to ask and although I don’t feel the need to do actual home checks, I ask for a short video that shows where the cat will be going. I need to be sure that I have found them a loving, safe and permanent future or I’m failing them.

We adopted a rescued kitten that Rebecca was fostering a few months ago, who had been found with her mum and the rest of the litter. However, you wouldn’t have guessed she had this rough start in life - Rebecca took the whole litter and their mum in and gave them the patient, loving home they needed to be ready for their forever home (as she does with any foster in her care!). She nurtured them to become healthy, confident and happy kittens and our little girl is absolutely wonderful. Our experience with Rebecca was amazing - she was super communicative, sending photos and videos of our kitten every day so we could see her growing up, and it always felt like she was doing the best she could by all the animals in her care. She’s a star!!
