It’s with a very heavy heart that I’m looking to find a loving new home for my nearly 4-year-old Chow Chow boy. ❤️ This is entirely due to a change in my personal circumstances and having to move somewhere that unfortunately means I’m unable to take him with me. This is not a decision I have made lightly, so finding the right home for him is incredibly important to me. He is fully house trained and has no known health issues. He is not neutered. He has grown up in a family home with a primary school-aged child, so he is used to having a child around. However, like many Chows, he does appreciate his own space and needs this to be respected, so I would want his new family to understand this. He has not lived in a home with other dogs or cats, so I cannot confidently say how he would be sharing his home with other animals. Because of this, I would ideally like to find someone who can take the time to make sure their home and circumstances are suitable for him. He has a typical Chow personality – independent, loyal and full of character. He enjoys his walks but is equally happy relaxing at home and having his own space. I would love for him to go to a calm, loving and permanent home, ideally with someone who has experience with Chow Chows or has researched and understands the breed. I’m more than happy to answer any questions about his personality, routine or history and would like to speak properly with any potential new owner before making a decision. The right home is much more important to me than rehoming him quickly. Serious and loving homes only please. ❤️
