I am sadly looking to rehome my dog, Mr Joel, due to an upcoming major surgical operation that will leave me unable to walk or care for him properly for several weeks. This decision is entirely no fault of his own — he is a loving, energetic boy who deserves the time and attention I won’t be able to provide during recovery. Mr Joel is an American Bulldog cross French Bulldog with a sweet, affectionate temperament. He loves being active and enjoys long walks, running, and playing with tennis balls. He is fully toilet trained and has never had an accident in the house.
On the lead he walks well but can pull at times due to his strength, while off‑lead he has good recall and is friendly when meeting other dogs. He gets along well with dogs in general, although he has not been tested with cats. He thrives on human company and prefers not to be left alone for long periods, as he can become anxious. For this reason, he would suit someone who is home often and able to give him plenty of companionship. A home with a garden would be ideal, especially for someone with experience handling strong, active breeds.
He is currently on a raw diet and will leave with his crate and toys. I have had him for three months after purchasing him from Pets4Homes. He is microchipped to his previous owner, and I was told his vaccinations were up to date, although I did not receive any paperwork. Mr Joel is a truly loving dog who deserves a stable, committed home. Serious enquiries only — I want to ensure he goes to the right family.
