Description
This is Vivi, an American Bulldog x Staffy, who was born on 19/1/26 and we've had her since 5/5/26. Unfortunately due to unexpected living arrangements we're unable to give her the time and training she needs and would like her to go to a good home who can give her the love she deserves.
She's had her 1st and 2nd vaccinations, has been microchipped and is up to date with her flea and worm treatments. Health wise she does have an Umbilical hernia that doesn't affect her at all and the vet has said its very rare that complications may come from it and that if she were to be spayed they can fix the hernia at the same time. She is also urinating frequently and we've been asked to keep an eye on it so if it continues or worsens to get in touch with the vet.
The Mother and Father were very large dogs so we expect the new owners to be aware of this. Vivi is currently around 14/15kg and we expect her to get around 30/35kg. She is currently on a dry food James Wellbeloved hypoallergenic and is fed 3 times a day. She is food orientated so will be easy train with treats. She has learnt to sit and wait for food.
Behaviour and temperament wise she is a very friendly dog when she gets to know you. She hasn't had many opportunities to socialise with many dogs and people but the moment she warms up she will give you lots of cuddles. She does like to climb up for cuddles and she does sometimes nip. She is very playful so will need opportunities to burn off some energy, she loves to play tug of war with the rope and does play fetch. She also has and uses lots of toys.
She currently lives with a Chihuahua who she gets along fine with and they don't fight over food. The only concern is she does rough play so whilst we'd be happy for her going to a home with another dog, the new owners should be aware of that. With other dogs in public she is nervous so it should just be a matter of getting her more socialized.
She is ready to leave now and is available for viewing. She does need training but we definitely think she will be an incredible pet to whomever looks after her and gives her the time. We have some toys, a bed, some treats and some flea and wormer we can give as well if it's needed.
