Bat is an adorable setter given by a hunter because he wasn’t wanted when he became too old. He is a lovely laid back lad, who is very affectionate with people and loves nothing more than having a cuddle. However, he’s still a working setter and age is just a number with these dogs! He still loves having a run around in the enclosed area at the shelter and getting all the sniffs! Dogs like Bat are the ones that really break our hearts, after a lifetime of loyal service to a hunter they are tossed aside. Thankfully this means Bat now has the chance of having the retirement he’s always deserved and we hope we can find it for him! He can live with children and can be cat tested for the right home.
